  • Member Since,October 1, 2021

As an Industrial Psychologist within the Healthcare industry, Lauren helps healthcare systems and companies create and optimize processes within HR, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition departments that contribute to challenges they face. In doing so, she helps to reduce turnover, increase engagement/retention, and overall improve the company's productivity.
Her day-to-day work involves identifying an area of need, creating a measurable solution, creating training courses, and training employees on the new ways of working.
Using Instructional Design techniques and principles, she creates and delivers training in classroom settings in both 1-1 training sessions and lecture-style sessions with audiences of over 300 employees.
In a way, an Industrial Psychologist is like an in-house consultant that brings a focus on the psychology and evidence of Change-Management practices and Adult Learning principles to drive solutions, in addition to the ever-present goal of increasing the "bottom line".
